Welcome to the website of Ingenico Marketing Solutions. In the following paragraphs we will inform you about the type, scope and purpose of processing your personal data including your legal rights.
Of course we process your personal data exclusively within the framework of legal data protection regulations. But data protection is more than just a legal obligation for us. Rather, data protection in practice is a customer-oriented quality feature and is given the highest priority at Ingenico Marketing Solutions.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus to analyze a user’s activities across devices.

Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, by activating IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address is first shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide us with further services related to website and internet use.

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has found that the US does not provide an adequate level of data protection equivalent to the European data protection law (ECJ, 16.7.2020 – C-311/18 “Schrems II”). In particular, there is a risk that your data may be processed by U.S. authorities for control and monitoring purposes and possibly also without the possibility of legal recourse (e.g. under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA 702). By accepting Google’s cookies, you consent to the processing of your data in the USA, knowing the possible risks in accordance with Art. 49 (1) 1 lit. a) GDPR.

Data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted on a monthly basis.

You can also prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Google Tag Manager

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled that the US does not have an adequate level of data protection equivalent to European data protection law (ECJ, 16/7/2020 – C-311/18 “Schrems II”, Press release). In particular, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and surveillance purposes and possibly also without any legal remedy (e.g. due to Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA 702). By accepting cookies from Google, you also consent to your data being processed in the USA in full knowledge of the potential risks in accordance with Art. 49 (1) 1 lit. a) GDPR.

For reasons of transparency we would like to point out that we use the Google Tag Manager. The Google Tag Manager functions without cookies and does not collect any personal data itself. The Tag Manager makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. Tags are small code elements that are used, among other things, to measure traffic and visitor behavior, to measure the impact of online advertising and social channels, to set up remarketing and targeting, and to test and optimize websites. We use the tools described in this data protection statement for this purpose. If you have disabled it, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with this Tag Manager.

We use Google Ads, a service of Google Inc. Google Ads uses cookies to deliver user-based advertisements. The cookies recognise which ad has already been placed in your browser and whether you have visited a website via a placed advertisement.

Google Maps

This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

To ensure the privacy of our website, Google Maps is disabled when you first enter our website. A direct connection to the Google servers is only established when you activate Google Maps yourself (consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). This prevents your data from being transmitted to Google when you first enter the site.

After activation, Google Maps will save your IP address. This is then usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer after Google Maps has been activated.
